OnGoodyGift sells hand-painted canvas paintings from studio inventory in Haicang, Xiamen, China. This policy explains how information is handled when you browse ongoodygift.com, shop with us, or contact us.

Information we collect
The information involved depends on how you use the store:
- Customer inquiries: your email address, name if provided, messages, and photographs or other attachments you send us.
- Purchases and returns: when you place an order, the contact and delivery details, selected paintings, quantities, order references, payment status, and return or refund records needed to handle it.
- Connection information: a website or service provider may receive your IP address, browser type, requested page, and the time of a request when delivering the site or protecting its services.
Please do not send passwords, full card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive personal information in an email.
How we use information
We use customer information to answer questions, process and deliver purchases, provide order updates, arrange returns and refunds, resolve payment disputes, prevent misuse, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.
We do not add you to a promotional mailing list simply because you ask a question or make a purchase. If you separately choose to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in those messages or contact us.
Payments through PayPal
If you pay through PayPal, PayPal handles your payment information under its own privacy statement. We may receive transaction details, payment status, and the contact or delivery information needed to fulfill your order.
We do not ask for your PayPal password or store your full payment-card number. Information you give directly to PayPal is governed by PayPal’s Privacy Statement.
Your cart, saved paintings and cookies
Your shopping cart and saved paintings are kept in local storage in your browser. These selections stay on that browser and are not sent to us merely because you browse or save a painting.
Your chosen language is also stored locally. On the default homepage, the store can use your browser’s language preferences, with its time zone as a fallback, to choose a language. This does not use an external location service. You can change the language at any time.
You can remove items using the cart and saved-paintings pages, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Clearing site data removes those selections. Private browsing or blocking browser storage may prevent them from being saved.
The storefront does not use advertising pixels or analytics tools. Services you visit separately, including PayPal, may use their own cookies and storage under their own policies.
Service providers and sharing
We share information only for the purposes described here, including with payment providers, delivery carriers, email services, and hosting or technical providers when their help is needed. For example, a carrier needs a recipient’s delivery details, but does not need the contents of an unrelated customer inquiry.
We may also disclose relevant information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or to address fraud, security incidents, or payment disputes. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
This site uses Google Fonts. Loading those typefaces connects your browser to Google, which receives connection information. See Google Fonts privacy information.
International processing
We operate from China and serve customers worldwide. Information you send us may be accessed or processed in China, and service providers may process information in other countries where they operate. Privacy laws can differ between countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements apply.
How long information is kept
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to answer an inquiry, fulfill an order, provide after-sales support, handle disputes, and meet applicable accounting or legal requirements. The period depends on the type of record and the reason it is kept; customer information is not kept indefinitely simply for possible future marketing.
Browser-stored selections remain until you remove them, clear the site’s data, or your browser deletes them. If you request deletion, we may still need to retain limited records for an outstanding order, refund, dispute, or legal obligation.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can ask us about the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion by emailing info@ongoodygift.com. Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may also have rights to obtain a copy, restrict or object to processing, appeal a request decision, or use an authorized representative.
We may ask for information sufficient to verify that a request relates to you. We will explain if a request cannot be completed in full because information is needed for an order or must be retained by law. We do not penalize customers for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Security and children’s privacy
Access to customer information is limited to people and service providers who need it for the purposes described in this policy. No website, email service, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Contact info@ongoodygift.com if you believe information you provided has been misused.
The store is intended for adult purchasers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us information can contact us to request its removal.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it before the relevant change takes effect.
